Agreement
These terms govern your use of SteadyMac, a macOS app by Siliconmac LLC FZ (“SiliconMac”, “we”). By downloading, installing or using SteadyMac, you agree to these terms.
License
We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use SteadyMac on Macs that you own or control, for personal or business use. We keep all rights not expressly granted.
Price
SteadyMac is currently free, with no fees, subscriptions or in-app purchases. If we introduce paid versions or features in the future, the price will be shown clearly before you buy, and you will never be charged without making a purchase yourself.
Restrictions
You must not sell, rent or redistribute SteadyMac, distribute modified copies, or remove its copyright notices. You must not reverse engineer SteadyMac except where the law expressly allows it. To make sure you have a genuine, signed copy, download SteadyMac only from siliconmac.com or through its built-in updater.
Your responsibility
SteadyMac can delete files, change system and fan settings, and create macOS installers. Always review the details before you confirm an action, and keep a current backup, for example with Time Machine. Deleted files may not be recoverable. Changing fan behavior affects cooling and noise; return fans to automatic control if you are unsure.
Updates
SteadyMac receives signed updates through its built-in updater. Updates may add, change or remove features.
Third-party services
macOS installers are downloaded from Apple’s servers, and Apple’s terms apply to Apple software.
No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, SteadyMac is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data or for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of SteadyMac. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for SteadyMac, if any. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach these terms. When it ends, you must stop using SteadyMac and delete it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
