Who we are
This policy explains how Siliconmac LLC FZ (“SiliconMac”, “we”) handles information when you visit siliconmac.com. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked from that app’s page.
What this website stores on your device
If you choose a light or dark appearance, your browser remembers it locally under the name siliconmac-theme. If you choose a language, a cookie named siliconmac-locale remembers that choice for one year. Both stay in your browser and are not used to identify or track you.
What we do not do
This website has no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or user accounts. The only form is the optional review form described below. We do not sell, rent or share personal information, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Hosting and security
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and to protect the site against abuse and automated attacks, Cloudflare processes the technical information every browser sends with a request, such as your IP address, browser type and the address of the page requested. Cloudflare handles this information under its own privacy policy, available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Downloads and update checks
When you download SteadyMac, or when SteadyMac checks for updates, your device requests files from this website. These requests are handled in the same way as any other page request described above, and contain no files or personal content from your Mac.
If you email us
If you write to support@siliconmac.com, we use your email address and message only to reply to you and help with your request. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Reviews you send us
If you send a review, we store the app you chose, your rating, your review, the name or nickname you enter (optional) and your email address (optional) in a database hosted by Cloudflare. Reviews appear on the website only after we read them, with the name you entered or as “SiliconMac user”. Your email address is never published and is used only to reply to you. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions; Turnstile checks your browser and connection, and we do not store your IP address. You can ask us to remove your review or delete your details at any time by emailing support@siliconmac.com.
Your choices and rights
You can remove the appearance and language preferences at any time by clearing this website’s data in your browser. You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing support@siliconmac.com. We respond in line with applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
